The Fruit & Spinach Smoothie

I've been going through a smoothie craze lately.  I really, really enjoy them!  I've been coming up with combinations that sounds like they could work.  So, I introduce my idea for the blog: Smoothie Sundays!  I am hoping to be able to feature the  combinations that I've come up with from July-end of August...for summer, ya know?  Hoping is the key word...I am sure I can make it happen:)

We haven't had a post from Marlina yet since the blog started...but she does remain an integral part of the blog.  We talk about the blog daily-she helps me brainstorm ideas on what to feature and suggest which photos I should use...she just doesn't have a camera (it's been on the fritz since earlier this year).  So we've decided that in order to keep her more active that she would participate in Smoothie Sundays and create some recipes and I would make and take photos of them...sounds good right?  I can't wait!

This smoothie makes enough for one serving, but you can always double it if you're making it for two.  For the pictures, I separated the spinach from the fruit otherwise the smoothie is a brown color-not very appealing (but very tasty!).  I made this smoothie over and over again for days and just love it.  Lots of fruit flavor and a serving of vegetables, it's hard not to have just one serving!

  2. Sounds delicious! I've made some hideously brown smoothies before (that were still good!) so I love the idea of keeping the colours separate so it looks gorgeous!

    1. It's the brown smoothies that are the most delicious! But not as appetizing when you're trying to take pictures....Thank you for the comment Natalie!

  3. came from courtney's blog.

it is nice to you separated the spinach. the colors are looking so good. i love smoothies but spinach smoothie is one thing i cannot have. but i think the fruits must be toning down the bland taste of spinach in this smoothie.
